Lagar el Altozano
Get to know the winery

Spend some unforgettable days in an authentic 19th century winepress rehabilitated as a full rental rural house! Among olive trees, vineyards and cypresses, our pool, and spectacular views and sunsets, the house offers you the exclusivity and privacy of a 35-hectare estate, where you can enjoy nature and tradition with all the comforts of today.
The "Lagar El Altozano" is a construction from the end of the 19th century that was once used to make olive oil and wine and today it has been completely restored. In the beautiful private estate where it is located, and through which you can take long walks, olive harvesting tasks are carried out every year for oil.
With spectacular views of the city of Trujillo and its countryside, the winery has many attractions to spend an unforgettable stay, with its pool overlooking the city or its large cellar with the original jars to store wine as tall as a grown person. The farm also has a vegetable garden, and depending on the time of year, various agricultural tasks will be carried out.
